System Architecture Diagram

The Chorus platform is organized into several logical layers that work together to process and manage monitoring workflows securely and scalably.

The major architectural layers include:

  • Device Layer — Cellular-enabled medical devices collect physiological data and transmit readings securely to the platform.
  • Integration Layer — FHIR APIs and integration services allow the platform to exchange clinical information with external healthcare systems such as EHR platforms.
  • Processing Layer — Signal processing pipelines and machine learning models analyze physiological data to detect patterns and potential anomalies.
  • Data Layer — Incoming physiological signals are stored as standardized FHIR resources (Observations, Encounters) within the platform's immutable data infrastructure.
  • Application Layer — Provider, patient, and administrative interfaces enable monitoring workflows, clinical review, and care coordination.

This layered architecture ensures that data ingestion, processing, and user interaction remain modular and scalable.
